Walking Through Grief…

“My mama passed away.” Those words hit my heart heavily, spoken by a six-year-old guest. How do you respond to that? As the director and founder of Three Willows, I encounter many guests who are riddled with grief of all kinds and consider it an honor to share space with people who are processing their pain. Still, words often fail me, just as they did in the moment described above. I don’t have all the answers, but I have love, compassion, hugs, and horses. And so we walk through the grief. The guests we have here all have different stories, different circumstances, and different needs. Whatever the circumstances, this place is a safe place for hurting hearts. When you come alongside Three Willows, you’re really coming alongside those in your community who are hurting. If you have partnered with us to keep this place available to those who need it THANK YOU. You can’t possibly know what a gift you have given. We’re walking through hard things here, thank you for walking with us.
